No Juana Gets Left Behind
Women
empowerment means granting women the freedom to live their lives as they wish
and to pursue their passions without restriction. When women are empowered,
good things happen in their homes and throughout the world. Women have suffered
greatly for many years, they were not only confined to their homes but they
were also treated as slaves. They were not permitted to leave their homes,
work, or participate in any decision-making process. They are judged based on
how they speak, act, dress, and carry themselves. Women empowerment is
intertwined with respect for human rights. These rights include the
freedom from violence and discrimination, the right to an education, the right
to vote, and the right to earn an equal wage. Besides this, many opportunities
are getting wasted not only for women but also for men. Discrimination against
women refers to disparities in treatment based on stereotyped expectations,
attitudes, and behaviors. However, many women and girls continue to face sex
and gender discrimination around the world.
As time progressed, some women started fighting for their rights and it became an inspiration for other women. This then led to the revolution for women's empowerment. As a woman, I am glad that every march of the year, Women’s Month is celebrated around the world to recognize ordinary women who have made exceptional contributions to the history of their countries and communities. This day honors women's rights and the significance of women in the world. The day also serves as a call to action for people all over the world to take action against gender discrimination. But it shouldn’t just be in March that we make women feel that they are valuable. We must let them know every day that we love them and that we value them. Especially to all hardworking Juana’s that are frontliners, OFW’s, single moms, and to all women who seek gender equality and women empowerment deserves all the love in the world.
There are so many things we can do to empower women and girls around the world. By giving them access to education, they will receive many opportunities. They can pursue a variety of careers, run businesses, and handle their lives better. You can simply empower women just by listening to them. Women have a lot to deal with in their lives. Rape, domestic violence, health issues, and abuse are just a few examples, and they often don't have anyone to talk to. You greatly empower them by listening to them and showing them that you care. We should also start mentoring young girls. Mentoring young girls on the importance of self-love and care are necessary. As a result, strong, independent women will emerge in the future. You can empower women just by simply appreciating them. Women are present in all of our lives. It could be your mother, sister, wife, teacher, or coworker. Being kind, appreciating, giving a simple compliment, and caring for the women in your life is a great way to empower them.
It is good to hear that women are
striving for equality, that a lot of women seek women empowerment around the
world. Women
have found a way to change the mindset of society.
They made sure that all the past
mistreatment of women would not be repeated. They were able to find a way to
stop gender roles. And
I have so much respect for all the men that don’t underestimate us, women. We,
women, dream that one day no woman will be oppressed, belittled, ridiculed and
that every woman will feel loved, honored, and respected. We still have a long
way to go to achieve gender equality and women empowerment around the world.
Hopefully, we can get rid of the stereotypes mentality, and let us always
remember that a woman can do anything a man can do, so hear our voices and let
us keep empowering women.
