                         The second quarter is coming to an end once more. This quarter has been a roller coaster ride for me. As of now, I've acquired a wealth of skills and knowledge that I will use throughout this grading period. I had a great time learning our ICT topics. The topic for this quarter was new to me at first. Luckily, I was able to comprehend the lesson and became acquainted with the tags and elements used in creating HTML files. And, to be frank, creating web pages with HTML tags and coding was a lot of fun. I must admit, I'm still dealing with the issues I had during the previous grading period. I'm also having difficulty following some lessons in some subjects, which makes completing tasks on-time more challenging.           Ilocos Sur has a rich heritage and unique culture that is to be preserved for the next generations because it is observed that many of these traditions, songs, dances and other Ilocano culture are not familiar to the younger generations already. Children of today are paying more attention to the modern and novelty dances they have seen on the television than the traditional ones. As a result, the provincial government of Ilocos Sur has created a festival to highlight these issues.         Festivals are an integral part of Filipino culture, and they are held in every city. In honor of St. Paul the apostle, every year on January 25th, the Vigan Longganisa Festival takes place. Vigan residents hold a number of festivals during the year to commemorate their rich heritage. The festival attracts a large number of visitors who come to see the show's presentations. Vigan Town Fiesta features arts and crafts exhibits, carnivals, street dance events, and other fun performances that honor Vigan's cityhood spirit.        After a virus swept the globe, we now have to deal with this new normal and that includes having to follow the strict health protocols while celebrating the festival.            If years were people, 2020 would be the most disliked person in the world. 2020 would be the type to make little kids purposefully cry, or run over an animal with no remorse. Last year was a tough one for all of us. I remember myself having a mental breakdown during my birthday. ECQ was implemented during that time. Trust me, the last thing you wanna feel is to cry on your birthday. Last year, I was at the lowest point of my life. There were many times where I cried myself to sleep. There were things that surprised me and broke my heart. It messed up my mental health big time. I can also say that I was unproductive.         In order to minimize the spread of Covid-19, several countries around the world have agreed to temporarily close down establishments. Various aspects of everyday life, including going to the workplace and education, have been profoundly impacted by this pandemic. As a result, schools have been forced to renounce conventional classes and instead switch to online classes. Currently, conducting modular learning is the only way out, to keep imparting knowledge.          I can tell that this quarter, I learned a lot of information. I didn't intend to grow any blogs, but ICT opened up a chance for me. In a certain part of my life, I've also learned a lot about the internet, which could help me.
